The IDEAS4WOMEN project aims to promote digital literacy and industry-related skills in disadvantaged communities in Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Greece, particularly among underemployed women in rural areas. The project seeks to train socially excluded and vulnerable women in four or more topics related to essential skills and technologies, including soft and digital skills. In order to achieve this, areas where vulnerable women need help through qualitative and quantitative research will be identified. The training will take place from 01/10/2023 to 01/11/2024 and will be available through hybrid/blended learning. The project will develop multilingual educational material adapted for physical and hybrid learning and create an online platform to host the educational content for at least two years after the project ends. Moreover, IDEAS4WOMEN will engage industry and academia stakeholders to gather insights and identify training topics, and the content will be decided collaboratively. Additionally, the project will conduct face-to-face and online workshops in three countries and train 5-10 participants per topic per country, as well as promote collaboration between consortium organizations and relevant stakeholders and gather feedback to improve the material. Overall, the IDEAS4WOMEN project seeks to address the slow progress of digital literacy in rural areas and improve the digital skills and employment prospects of underemployed women in disadvantaged communities.
